Vintage Lanchère Flair Rouge and Powder Duo Compact with Refill

Regular price $250.00

The Vintage LanchΓ¨re Flair Petite Duo Compact (Mid-20th Century, 1950s–1970s) is a collectible beauty item reflecting the elegance of mid-century makeup compacts.

Lanchère was an American cosmetics brand founded in 1919, producing refillable pressed powder and rouge compacts that were both functional and fashionable. The brand is noted for its compact cases from the 1920s and 1930s, which were typically square in shape.

The Flair Petite Duo Compact was a double-compartment design, containing pressed face powder and a blush or puff applicator.

The refillable feature was marketed as an eco-friendly and cost-effective way to maintain a makeup look.

The compact itself was designed to be small and portable to fit in a handbag for quick touch-ups at social events or work.

Many vintage Lanchère compacts featured gold-tone, silver-tone, or enameled cases with engraved patterns.

Please note all vintage pieces show signs of visible wear. These items are non-refundable.
