Reflecting the social customs of the late 19th and early 20th centuries. These small, decorative purses—also known as dance compacts, minaudières, or necessaires—were popular among fashionable women attending formal events like balls, operas, and soirées. 

Compact purses were small enough to be held in one hand, typically containing a powder compact, mirror, coin holder, and a space for dance cards (which listed dance partners for the evening).Β Many featured floral engravings, filigree, or repoussΓ© work in sterling silver.

Please note all vintage pieces show signs of visible wear. These items are non-refundable.Β 

Due to the high volume of orders expected with this drop, all parcels will ship from March 20th. Domestic tracking will update as soon as your parcel is collected by Australia Post - and should arrive within 5-7 days (regular post) or 3-5 days (express post) from pick up. International orders may take up to 7 days once picked up. Tracking will be sent accordingly.
